Haven't had the stalling problem yet thank GOD! It may as well be because the thing dies and you're lucky to get into limp mode. The canister design is different as it has a solid bottom and a separate air vent on the top. Sometimes it dies first and then sputters/jolts. Put new fuel pump module in, old one was rusty and wizzing fuel, get er all together, go to fill up, "tink tink tink" goes the gas nozzle.
